This pond is the shell type, meaning a plastic preformed pond. It was originally set up with loose stacked rock like many ponds. Inevitably cats, dogs, squirrels and other animals are attracted to the water and the loose stones end up tipped into the pond. I tore this one apart, re-leveled it and mortared the waterfall and other stones in place before replanting.
Something to remember; it doesn't take a big pond to make really great waterfall noise. Turn up the sound on the video below.
