Tablerock Summit is a real experience without much fuss. There is a parking lot to hike from and a well worn path. there are some side paths that can be confusing first time up, but overall very simple. I like to shoot over to Little Tablerock on the way up and sit on the ledge overlooking Linville Gorge. My favorite way to do Tablerock is as a warm up before going to a waterfall.
